Air Europa, legally Air Europa Líneas Aéreas, S.A.U. is the third-largest Spanish airline. The airline is headquartered in Llucmajor, Mallorca, Spain. It has its main hub at Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport, as well as at the airports of Palma de Mallorca and Tenerife North Airport. Air Europa operates flights to Europe, South America, North America, the Caribbean, Morocco and Tunisia. Air Europa started in 1986 and registered in Spain as Air España SA as part of the British ILG-Air Europe Group. It is now owned by Globalia Corporación Empresarial S.A. The first Airbus A330 entered service with Air Europa in March 2006. The company had 17 A330 aircraft in its fleet, which were decommissioned in 2020.
