Tata SIA Airlines Limited, known as Vistara, was an Indian full-service airline based in Gurgaon, with a hub at Indira Gandhi International Airport. The airline, a joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, began operations on January 9, 2015, operating its first flight between Delhi and Mumbai. As of September 2024, it held a 10% share of the domestic air travel market, making it the third-largest domestic carrier after IndiGo and Air India. Vistara served 50 destinations using a fleet of Airbus A320 family aircraft and Boeing 787-9s. Vistara ceased operations on November 12, 2024, following its merger with the national carrier Air India. After the merger, the Vistara brand was discontinued and continued to operate under the Air India name. The aircraft retained their previous livery until their next maintenance check.
