TRIP Linhas Aéreas S/A (formerly Transporte Aéreo Regional do Interior Paulista) was a domestic regional airline based in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The airline was established in 1998 with two Embraer 120 Brasilias. In June 2009, the airline received the first Embraer 175 aircraft. In total, TRIP operated nine such aircraft. On May 28, 2012, Azul Brazilian Airlines acquired TRIP, creating the holding company Azul Trip. Since 2013, the letter U in the Azul logo has been written in a lighter shade of blue, repeating the color scheme of the Trip logo. On May 6, 2014, the merger process was completed with the final approval of the Brazilian authorities. On this day, the TRIP brand ceased to exist.
