Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg and operates a hub-and-spoke network. The Airbus A340-600 has long been considered the flagship of the airline's fleet, famous for its incredibly long fuselage. These giants were operated from 2002 to 2020. The A340-600 aircraft was ideally suited for the company's long-haul flights such as to Australia, North America and Europe.
