All Nippon Airways is a Japanese airline headquartered in Minato, Tokyo. ANA operates services to both domestic and international destinations and is Japan's largest airline. ANA's earliest ancestor was Japan Helicopter and Aeroplane Transports Company, an airline company founded on 27 December 1952. In December 1957 Nippon Helicopter changed its name to All Nippon Airways Company. The airline joined as a Star Alliance member in October 1999. All Nippon Airways operates three Airbus A380s, each featuring a unique "Flying Honu" (Hawaiian green sea turtle) livery, introduced between 2019 and 2020 specifically for the Tokyo-Honolulu route. The JA381A was the first of three SuperJumbo aircraft delivered. It is named "Lani" (Sky) and is colored blue.
