Air Canada Cargo is a cargo handling subsidiary of Air Canada, formed in 1978 as a separate division. The airline operated Douglas DC-8 cargo planes until the 1990s, later Air Canada abandoned the cargo brand until 2020. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Air Canada Cargo resumed operations, starting to use temporarily modified Boeing 777 and Airbus A330 aircraft. On December 9, 2021, the first of eight Boeing 767-300 ER BSF cargo aircraft of Air Canada Cargo entered service. In 2022, the airline received two new Boeing 767-300F cargo planes.
